Ensono invites applications for a Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS. This remote role focuses on CICS TS on z/OS, delivering premium support to Ensono mainframe clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years on the zSeries mainframe with hands-on CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Proficiency with IBM SMP/E for software installation and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium support for CICS TS and OEM products.
• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers in a timely manner.
• Provide 24x7x365 on-call support across multiple time zones.
• Install, upgrade and tailor CICS TS and related OEM products following best practices.
• Prepare customer partitions for annual OS upgrades with defined checklists.
• Support customer migrations and coordinate with project teams and DR services.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures.
