Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Corporate Transactions Attorney to support a legal AI training and evaluation project on a remote basis in the United States. You will review contracts, perform redlining, and participate in simulated negotiations to improve AI-generated legal analysis. Candidates should have a J.D.

from an ABA-accredited law school, active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and 2+ years in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.

Qualifications

• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 2+ years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including SPAs and APAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract drafting, review, redlining, and simulated negotiations.
• Evaluate AI responses to M&A and contract-related scenarios.
• Develop objective evaluation criteria for AI performance.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI outputs.
• Collaborate with product and research teams on legal AI workflows.
