Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Corporate Transactions Attorney with strong M&A expertise to support an AI-driven legal training project. You will review contracts, draft and redline documents, and provide feedback to improve AI-generated analyses.

This remote contractor role requires a J.D., active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and 2+ years in M&A within a corporate law firm. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape AI workflows.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 2+ years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
• Familiarity with SPAs and APAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract drafting, review, redlining, and simulated negotiations.
• Evaluate AI responses to M&A and contract-related scenarios.
• Develop objective evaluation criteria for AI performance.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI outputs.
• Collaborate with product and research teams on legal AI workflows.
