Job summary

Roadrunner Freight is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Account Executive to drive new business growth and retain accounts across locations in the United States. The role requires building relationships, collaborating with operations, and developing pricing strategies while communicating clearly with customers at all levels.

You will manage end-to-end sales processes, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support collections as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years or more of sales experience in the transportation industry.
• Very proficient with written and verbal communication.
• Excellent sales and negotiating skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret pricing agreements, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers and colleagues.
• Ability to present information to customers, prospects, top management, and public groups.

Responsibilities

• Develops new business through prospecting and development techniques while maintaining profitability.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers via regular professional communication and multiple contacts within the account hierarchy.
• Collaborates with Operations to understand customer needs and resolve issues.
• Develops account pricing requirements and submits them for corporate approval.
• Completes weekly sales reports and account profiles as needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and ethical manner.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Roadrunner Freight services in all interactions.
• Leads and supports team efforts to meet departmental and company goals.
