Job summary

Roadrunner Freight seeks a highly motivated Corporate Account Executive to accelerate new business growth and retain current accounts across multiple shipping locations. Strong pricing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this remote role.

You will collaborate with Operations to meet client needs, develop pricing proposals, and contribute to a high-performance sales culture. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of sales experience in transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret pricing agreements, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers and business community.
• Must be self-motivated, punctual, organized and able to work unsupervised.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develops new business through prospecting and development techniques while maintaining profitability.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers through regular professional communication.
• Collaborates with Operations to understand customer needs and resolve issues.
• Develops account pricing requirements and submits for corporate approval.
• Completes weekly sales reports and account profiles as needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and ethical manner.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Roadrunner services in all interactions.
• Assists with collections.
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve goals.
• Provides leadership through example and sharing of knowledge.
