Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team, focused on governance of LTC models, data flows, and controls. You will guide design, ensure compliance with standards, and support valuation, projections, and experience analyses.

Based in the Remote US footprint, the role emphasizes collaboration with operations and IT, peer reviews, and delivering timely analyses while balancing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Knowledge of valuation, projections, and experience processes.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Results oriented with ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and improve recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models.
