Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team in a governance role focused on LTC models and processes. You will become an expert on LTC model, data and controls, guiding design to align with company and actuarial standards.

The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams and expansion of oversight to projections, experience and data analytics. You will support peer reviews and documentation efforts to enhance transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related field.
• FSA designation or ASA with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LTC control environment and ensure consistent design across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review controls for high-risk processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on admin systems, data issues and controls.
• Help develop clear model and process documentation for transparency and accessibility.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models and processes.
• Expand governance to include emerging teams and products.
• Assist with model change peer reviews and guidance on governance processes.
