Job summary

Genworth in a remote US role is seeking an experienced Long Term Care Actuary for governance and controllership of LTC models and processes. You will become the expert on LTC model, data and process flows and provide guidance on the appropriateness and design of controls to ensure compliance with company, industry, and actuarial standards.

Your primary focus will be valuation and inforce rate action teams, with potential expansion to projections, experience, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, finance, or related field.
• FSA or ASA designation or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models.
• Support valuation, projections, and experience analyses as needed.
