Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team, focusing on governance of LTC models, data, and controls. You’ll become an expert on LTC processes and provide guidance to ensure compliance with professional standards.

You will support valuation, projections, and experience analyses, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance controls and governance across LTC actuarial models.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, and/or related major.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years actuarial experience, preferably LTC insurance.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of actuarial processes: valuation, projections, and experience.
• Results oriented, accountable for performance, and ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls
• Provide governance peer review support for the development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes
