Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team. This remote US role (Eastern/Central time) offers eligibility for Virginia residents as Richmond, VA in-office or remote options within EST/ CST time zones.

You will govern LTC models and processes, ensure controls meet standards, and support valuation, projections, and experience analyses. BS/BA in math/actuarial science and an FSA/ASA are required, with ~5+ years LTC actuarial experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, and/or related major.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, preferably with LTC insurance.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models and processes.
