Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Model Governance and Controllership team. Remote US (Eastern/Central Time), with eligibility for in-office Richmond, VA or remote options for Eastern/Central time zones.

You will govern LTC models and processes, advise on controls, and support together with valuation, projections, and data teams. You should have a BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related, ASA/ FSA designation, about 5+ years of LTC actuarial

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related major.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC insurance.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of actuarial processes: valuation, projections, and experience.
• Results oriented, accountable for performance, and ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Provide governance peer review support for the development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes.
