Henderson Engineers is seeking a Practice Manager to drive growth by cultivating strong client relationships, expanding opportunities, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. You will lead client engagement, qualify leads, shape proposals, and support pursuit strategies across sectors, with potential geography focus.

In this role you’ll coordinate with project managers to ensure timely, on-scope delivery, mentor staff, and collaborate with sector leadership to strengthen market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, marketing, or business.
• 8+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years in personnel or project management.
• Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and support pursuit strategies.
• Experience managing client engagements or projects from initiation to delivery.
• Experience in a consulting or matrixed environment preferred.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.
• Demonstrates motivation, team leadership, and the ability to achieve goals.
• Broad knowledge of engineering design fundamentals and A&E industry standards.
• Proficiency in core competencies and willingness to take on other duties.

Responsabilités

• Oversee practice operations to support client delivery and revenue growth.
• Monitor workload, resources, and timelines to ensure commitments.
• Partner with Practice Director on budget development and oversight.
• Participate in industry committees and thought leadership.
• Improve processes for consistency, quality, and responsiveness.
• Align operational priorities with business development goals.
• Track KPIs related to pipeline health, client activity, and project execution.
• Ensure staffing and execution of projects with leadership support.
• Maintain client relationships and support market development in region.
