Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Practice Manager to drive growth by cultivating client relationships, expanding account opportunities, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. You will lead client engagement, identify new business prospects, and ensure successful solution delivery that supports long-term partnerships.

This role focuses on prospecting, proposals, and pursuit strategies, and may be geography-specific.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, marketing, or business preferred.
• Eight or more years of relevant leadership/management experience.
• Demonstrated success building and managing a sales pipeline and supporting pursuit strategies.
• Experience managing client engagements or projects from initiation through delivery.
• Background in consulting, professional services, or matrixed environments preferred.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions and drive revenue growth.
• Demonstrates motivation, team leadership, and ability to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversees project planning, scope definition, timelines, and resource coordination to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitors progress, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as needed to maintain client satisfaction.
• Works with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client goals and quality standards.
• Lead client communications, expectation setting, and issue resolution throughout the engagement lifecycle.
