Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is hiring an Leave of Absence and Accommodation Specialist to lead LOA and accommodation processes within the Employment Practices Group. This role supports compliance with FMLA, ADA, and related laws while coordinating with benefits and third-party administrators.

The position allows remote work in the United States or onsite in Newport News, VA, with responsibilities including educating managers, handling interactive accommodations, and analyzing leave data to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required
• 2–4 years of leave, accommodations experience
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Discretion with sensitive information and data analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with benefits team and LOA administrator to ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and state/local laws
• Minimize legal and financial risks by enforcing policies and procedures
• Participate in interactive process to determine reasonable accommodations and facilitate discussions
• Conduct training sessions for associates and managers on leave policies and accommodation procedures
• Apply leave and accommodation data to identify trends and inform decisions
