Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC seeks an Leave of Absence and Accommodation Specialist to lead LOA processes, return-to-work and accommodations. Remote work is allowed within the United States or at Newport News, VA offices, per policy.

You will partner with benefits and LOA teams, ensure compliance with FMLA/ADA and other laws, and educate managers on policies while analyzing leave data for improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in leave, accommodations, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partners with benefits team and LOA administrator to ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA and other laws.
• Minimizes legal and financial risks by following policies and laws.
• Participates in interactive process to determine reasonable accommodations.
• Conducts education and training sessions for associates and managers on leave policies.
• Applies leave data to identify trends and inform decisions.
