Job summary

Ideal Option PLLC is seeking a Leave + Accommodation Specialist for a fully remote US-based position. You will administer leaves of absence and workplace accommodations, review medical documentation, and ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PWFA and state requirements.

Ideal candidate provides strong communication, HRIS experience, and meticulous documentation. Requires 2+ years in leave programs and a high school diploma; anAssociate’s degree in HR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA and state leave laws.
• Ability to independently evaluate leave requests and make determinations.
• Experience handling ADA interactive process and accommodations.
• Ability to apply employment laws to complex employee situations.
• Strong attention to detail and data management.

Responsibilities

• Administer leaves of absence including FMLA and state programs.
• Review certifications and determine eligibility and designation.
• Coordinate accommodation requests under ADA and PWFA.
• Manage end-to-end leave process with timely communication and documentation.
• Collaborate with payroll and benefits on leave-related pay and updates.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Support HR audits and policy improvements.
• Ensure compliance with changing laws and company policies.
