Job summary

Care Access Research is seeking a Leave of Absence Manager to administer leave programs, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation with compliant, compassionate guidance for employees and managers. This remote US role emphasizes timely, accurate processing and collaboration with payroll and vendors.

This position requires 5+ years in leave administration, strong HRIS skills (UKG preferred), and the ability to support emergency response and benefits coordination across locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience administering employee leaves, including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related laws.
• Experience with HRIS and leave-management systems; UKG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end leaves of absence administration (FMLA, state/local leave, paid family leave, parental leave).
• Manage ADA accommodation process and return-to-work planning.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and safety-related communications.
• Support emergency response and employee continuity across locations.
• Maintain vaccination records and coordinate with Safety on related initiatives.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, HRBPs, and vendors to ensure consistent processes.
• Act as cross-trained backup for Benefits and contribute to special projects.
