Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP seeks an LIHTC Development Consultant to advise affordable housing developers on 9% and 4% LIHTC projects from feasibility to closing. You’ll lead strategy, evaluation, and client relationships while mentoring staff.

You will manage applications, capital stacks, and pricing discussions with investors, supporting closings and post-award tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; LIHTC development or consulting experience preferred.
• Multi-state 9% and 4% LIHTC experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead LIHTC development strategy, feasibility analysis, and capital stack structuring.
• Direct preparation and review of LIHTC applications under QAPs.
• Review sources and uses, credit calculations, and operating pro formas.
• Advise on equity pricing and investor requirements; support closings and post-award activities.
• Mentor staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
