Job summary

WSP seeks a Lifecycle Project Manager- Power & Energy (Remote) to oversee complex transmission, substation, and comms projects from inception through closeout. You will lead planning, schedules, budgets, and governance while coordinating engineering, controls, procurement, and construction teams across regions in the U.S.

The role requires 10+ years in PM, strong CPM and earned value capabilities, and proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver on time within safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field; relevant experience considered.
• 10+ years of experience with PM responsibility in Power Delivery, transmission, substation, or related infra.
• Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects with scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Advanced understanding of utility project delivery including engineering, procurement, permitting, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple transmission line and substation projects.
• Provide senior-level PM oversight for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, and procurement.
• Be primary point of accountability for project delivery, resolving issues and aligning with client expectations and standards.
• Develop and communicate integrated project schedules, cost forecasts, and executive-level reporting.
• Manage project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, earned value, change management, and cost control.
• Lead client engagement and relationship development through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across engineering, controls, procurement, construction, environmental, permitting, and stakeholders.
• Establish governance with risk registers, logs, change control, QA/QC, and audit-ready docs.
• Guide resource planning, staffing, and QA/QC to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Mentor PMs and teams to reinforce accountability and consistent delivery across the program.
