Qualifications

• 5+ years of life insurance underwriting experience, including medical and financial underwriting.
• Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and risk selection.
• Ability to interpret complex medical/financial information and assess risk.
• Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Professionalism, integrity, and discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-issue audits of underwriting initiatives for accuracy and guideline adherence.
• Review underwriting decisions for medical, financial, and operational soundness.
• Identify audit trends and prepare structured reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with Underwriting Risk Management to monitor CAPs.
• Contribute to enhancement of the Underwriting Risk Control Framework.
• Translate audit findings into targeted training and guidelines.
• Test new tools and GenAI solutions for impact on underwriting quality.
• Ensure audit documentation is complete for internal and regulatory review.
• Support continuous improvement of audit frameworks and metrics.
