Qualifications

5+ years of life insurance underwriting experience, including medical and financial underwriting.
Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and risk selection principles.
Ability to interpret complex medical/financial information and assess risk.

Responsibilities

Conduct post-issue audits of underwriting initiatives for technical accuracy and guideline adherence.
Review underwriting decisions for medical, financial, and operational soundness; ensure alignment with guidelines and mortality assumptions.
Identify errors, trends, and themes; prepare reports and recommendations for management.
