Job summary

Molecular Devices is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales for the Bioresearch platform across WI, MN, NE, ND, SD. You will manage instruments, software, and services for researchers in academia, biotech, pharma, and government from a remote base.

The role requires minimum 5 years in field sales within life sciences, with strong data analysis and experience using CRM tools. Remote work options are available; travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of field sales experience or selling into the life science or drug discovery.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Salesforce.com CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve territory revenue goals and targets for the product platform in the assigned territory via direct and distribution channels.
• Prospect for new customers; minimum 3 days in the field within the assigned territory.
• Must be proficient in SFDC with accurate account data, sales opportunities, and face-to-face activities.
• Perform demonstrations, training, installations, and customer support on equipment & software; attend product shows.
• Generate forecasts; monitor territory metrics; lead generation activities.
