Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher company, seeks a Key Account Manager to drive sales of the Bioresearch platform across instrumentation, software, and services. You will cultivate relationships with scientists in life sciences, pharma, and academia, while working remotely across multiple states with travel up to 50%.

The role reports to the Central Regional Sales Manager and involves forecasts, field demonstrations, and partner collaboration to grow market share and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in life sciences or related industries preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce.com CRM and data analysis is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work in the field.
• Proven track record of building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Achieve territory revenue goals for the product platform in assigned territory.
• Proactively prospect for new customers and opportunities, with field work minimum 3 days/week.
• Maintain accurate account data and sales progress in SFDC.
• Perform technical demonstrations, training, and support for equipment and software.
• Generate accurate forecasts and monitor territory metrics.
• Lead generation through e-blasts, seminars, and partner activities.
