Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events is seeking a Simple Congress Manager to support Life Sciences congress programs in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will manage logistics, attendee management, budgets and supplier coordination while partnering with internal teams, congress owners and organizers.

This role suits someone who excels in structured planning and clear communication. You will work in a remote setup within US time zones, with a potential for international exposure and travel.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating congress logistics including registrations, hotel blocks, ground transport, dining and attendee communications.
• Strong focus on compliance, documentation, audit readiness, and meeting deadlines.
• Budgeting, invoices and contracts review to keep programs financially on track.
• Proficient in using Cvent for attendee data, reporting and cross-workstream communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage congress logistics from registration to attendee communications.
• Maintain compliance through meticulous documentation and audit readiness.
• Build and reconcile budgets, review invoices and contracts to stay on budget.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to move projects forward.
• Provide timely responses to client questions and high-touch attendee needs.
