Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales opportunity. You will connect with families who requested coverage information, guiding them from the initial contact through the completed application.

Key duties include initiating conversations, asking discovery questions, presenting options by phone or video, and closing the case within one appointment. You’ll log progress in the CRM and participate in regular ride-alongs and script reviews with the

Qualifications

Experience selling by phone in inside sales, telesales or call centers.
Willingness to obtain a state life insurance license if not already licensed.
Strong follow-up routine and self-motivation.
Familiar with CRM systems and web-based quoting tools.

Responsibilities

Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation.
Open with questions instead of a pitch, so the family does most of the talking.
Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment.
Keep several open cases moving without losing track of any of them.
Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens.
Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time.
