Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a result-driven life insurance salesperson for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role. You will manage your own pipeline of clients who asked about coverage and guide them through discovery, quoting, and underwriting until issued.

You'll use web-based quoting tools and a CRM, receive access to exclusive leads, and benefit from one-on-one mentorship from Ben and Andrea. State licensing requirement applies, with leads and carrier options across 43 carriers.

Qualifications

• State license in life insurance or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Proven track record of selling with results driven by your own work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal daily direction.
• Excellent follow-up skills to move cases through underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of clients who requested information.
• Conduct discovery conversations and match options to client needs.
• Quote via carrier tools and submit applications at the appointment.
• Advance cases through underwriting until issued or closed.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and stay compliant with state rules.
