The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales agent. You will help families understand their options and complete applications, while navigating licensing requirements as needed.

Strong customer service and listening skills are essential for success. You will work with exclusive carrier leads, receive direct mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and participate in ongoing training and team calls.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, support, or call-center work where listening came first.
• Ability to explain options in plain language and guide clients through decisions.
• Proven ability to follow up and record notes in CRM.

Responsibilities

• Return calls from people who have asked about life insurance.
• Listen to household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Complete applications with clients and guide through licensing if needed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM to prevent missed follow-ups.
• Check in with clients while the carrier reviews their application.
