The Wood Agency Life is recruiting a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will help families understand options, guide them through the application, and assist with licensing as needed.

Expect inbound calls, empathetic listening, clear option explanations, and accurate CRM note-taking. You’ll work with carriers, receive mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and participate in ongoing training to stay current on products and state rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, support, or call-center work with listening first.
• Ability to explain options clearly and guide from questions to a decision.
• Willing to complete state licensing before selling; timelines vary by state.
• Must have a computer, a phone, and reliable internet; 18+; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Return calls from people who have inquired about life insurance.
• Listen first to understand household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Explain options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM for follow-up.
• Check in with clients while the carrier reviews their application; stay updated with licensing requirements.
