Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an experienced life insurance sales professional for a 100% remote, independent-contractor role. You will connect with families who requested information, handling conversations from first contact to completed applications.

You will schedule longer conversations, present quoting options via phone or video, and manage cases in a CRM, with mentorship from Ben and Andrea and access to multiple carriers.

Qualifications

• Experience selling by phone, in inside sales, telesales, or a call center.
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics, not quick transactions.
• Consistent follow-up without prompts.
• A state life insurance license, or plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• At ease with web-based quoting tools and a CRM.
• Eligible to work in the United States (18+).

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation.
• Open with questions instead of a pitch, so the family does most of the talking.
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment.
• Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens.
• Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time.
