Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance salesperson who will work with families who have already expressed interest in coverage. You will handle your own pipeline, conduct discovery conversations, and quote through carrier tools.

Commission-based role with mentorship from Ben and Andrea, access to exclusive leads, and a network of 43 carriers. You must be licensed or plan to get licensed, be 18+, and authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license or plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience selling via independent contractor model is preferred.
• Comfortable using web-based quoting platforms and a CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information.
• Conduct discovery conversations before presenting options and match to needs.
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during client appointments.
• Chase each case through underwriting until issued or closed.
• Keep CRM records clean so pipeline remains accurate.
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change.
