The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote life insurance sales professional on a 1099 independent-contractor basis. You will help families understand coverage options, guide them through licensing if needed, and coordinate the application process from initial questions to decision.

Responsibilities include handling inbound calls, listening to needs, and maintaining CRM notes as you work with multiple carriers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, support, or call-center work.
• Able to explain unfamiliar details clearly to clients.
• Comfortable guiding a client from questions to a decision.
• Willing to complete state licensing before selling; timelines vary by state.
• Must have a computer, a phone, and reliable internet.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Return calls from people who have asked about life insurance.
• Listen first to understand household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Explain options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM for follow-up.
• Check in with clients while the carrier reviews their application.
