Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking motivated individuals for a 100% remote life insurance sales role. This independent-contractor (1099) position welcomes career changers and guides families from information to licensing and application through underwriting.

You’ll speak with families who requested information, present suitable options, complete applications, and stay with cases through underwriting while keeping clients informed. Licensing is required before selling.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete state life insurance licensing before selling; timelines vary by state.
• Good with people and honest when the answer is 'it depends'.
• Able to manage your own time at home without daily check-ins.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who have requested information about life insurance.
• Ask about household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client.
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation.
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training.
