Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring a 100% remote life insurance sales professional on a 1099 independent-contractor basis. You will manage your own pipeline, conduct discovery, quote, and submit applications, guiding cases through underwriting until issued.

Strong self-motivation, CRM fluency, and a state license (or plan to obtain) are essential. Contractors earn via commissions with no base salary, and you’ll access exclusive lead systems and mentorship while collaborating with a team and carriers

Qualifications

• Must hold a state life insurance license or have a clear plan to obtain one before first sale.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet targets without daily direction.
• Experience with CRM and online quoting tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information.
• Conduct discovery conversations and match options to client needs.
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during client appointments.
• Navigate underwriting until policy is issued or closed.
• Keep CRM records accurate and up-to-date.
• Stay informed on carrier guidelines and state regulations.
