Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a self-motivated life insurance sales professional for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role. You will manage your own pipeline, set calls, and walk clients through options, underwriting, and follow-ups using a CRM system.

You should be comfortable working independently, licensed or in the process of obtaining a state life insurance license, and able to operate in a self-directed, commission-based environment. Training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to manage own pipeline.
• Experience freelancing or running your own business is valued.
• Hold a state life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Familiar with web-based tools and a CRM.
• Trustworthy and able to work independently with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who've requested life insurance information.
• Set your own appointment schedule and hold calls by phone or video.
• Ask discovery questions and walk through suitable options and apply together.
• Own each case through underwriting and keep the client informed.
• Track activity and follow-ups in the CRM; participate in ongoing training and compliance.
