The Wood Agency Life is seeking a passionate remote life insurance sales professional to guide families through information and applications. You will be supported through licensing if needed and work as an independent contractor (1099).

Responsibilities include returning inquiries, listening to goals, explaining options, completing applications, and maintaining CRM notes with ongoing training on products and carriers.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with listening and empathy.
• Ability to explain life insurance options in plain language.
• Willing to complete state licensing before selling; timelines vary by state.
• Self-motivated with reliable internet and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Return calls from people who have already asked about life insurance.
• Listen first: learn household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Explain options in plain language, then complete the application with the client.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM to ensure follow-ups.
• Check in with each client while carriers review applications.
• Keep learning products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training.
