Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking licensed life insurance professionals for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role. You’ll meet families by phone or video, listen to their needs, explain options in plain language, and guide them through the application process.

You’ll manage your own schedule, work with carriers, access exclusive leads, and receive mentorship from the agency leaders. Training continues as products and rules evolve.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Gift for explaining complicated ideas clearly.
• Willing to plan your own schedule rather than following a bell.
• State life insurance license, or plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who've already asked about life insurance.
• Listen to the family's situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language, then complete the application together.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Continue learning, because products and rules change and training continues.
