The Wood Agency Life is seeking an Inside Sales consultant for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will schedule and hold appointments by phone and video, present options across multiple carriers, complete applications on calls, and drive cases to policy issue.

This remote position requires an active state life insurance license (or plan to obtain) and the ability to work independently, with reliable internet and a strong pipeline mindset.

Qualifications

• Inside sales, account management, or business development experience.
• Comfortable working a pipeline and following up without a manager prompting you.
• Able to explain a product someone has never bought before.
• Life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before first sale.
• Equipment for remote work: computer, phone, reliable internet.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
