Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an Inside Sales professional for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will work with families who have already expressed interest and guide them through discovery, options, and rapid policy issuance.

You’ll schedule calls, present multiple carrier options, complete applications on the call, and keep meticulous CRM notes to help move cases forward. A state license or plan to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• State life insurance license or plan to sit for the exam before first sale.
• Experience in remote, commission-based selling.
• Ability to build trust and explain complex products over phone/video.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
