Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will work a full pipeline, schedule appointments, present options to families, complete applications on calls, and carry cases through policy issue.

You will log conversations in the CRM, stay informed on product details and state insurance rules, and leverage exclusive lead systems to build a steady stream of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Inside sales, account management, or business development experience.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up without prompting.
• A state life insurance license or plan to obtain it before first sale.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules
