Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an inside sales professional for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role focused on life insurance. You will schedule calls, discover client needs, present options across multiple carriers, and complete applications during the call to move cases toward issue.

Work from home with a focus on building a robust pipeline, meeting weekly targets, and maintaining knowledge of state insurance rules. Licensing or plans to license is required to start selling.

Qualifications

• Inside sales experience with pipeline-driven processes.
• Ability to explain life insurance products clearly.
• Familiarity with CRM and call tracking.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
