Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will discuss money decisions carefully with families who requested information and book appointments.

Responsibilities include reviewing finances, explaining options across carriers, completing applications with clients, and ensuring accurate disclosures for underwriting. You will use a CRM to track cases and participate in ongoing compliance training.

Qualifications

• Background in banking, lending, or credit union member service.
• Able to talk about family finances respectfully and without pressure.
• Self-directed, planning your own day and follow-up.
• License: State life insurance license, or plan to get licensed before first sale.

Responsibilities

• Contact people who requested information and book appointments.
• Review finances and obligations before discussing coverage.
• Explain carrier differences and complete the application with the client.
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately for underwriting.
• Track open cases through carrier review and keep clients informed.
• Log activity in the CRM and comply with training requirements.
