Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-motivated individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You’ll connect with families who requested information, listen to their goals, explain options in clear language, and guide them through the application process via phone or video.

You’ll work independently with licensing support, access to exclusive lead systems, mentorship from agency leadership, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting
• Ability to explain complicated ideas clearly
• Comfortable planning your own schedule (remote work)
• State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who requested information about life insurance
• Listen to family goals and worries to tailor coverage
• Explain options in plain language and complete applications together
• Follow underwriting process and keep families informed throughout
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM
• Engage in ongoing training as products and regulations evolve
