Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an inside sales professional for a fully remote, 1099 independent-contractor role focused on life insurance. You will schedule and conduct calls, present options from multiple carriers, complete applications during calls, and shepherd cases to policy issue.

Logged activity in the CRM and ongoing updates to clients are essential as carriers review applications. A state license or plan to sit the exam is required before first sale, with full-time remote readiness

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, account management or business development.
• Comfortable managing a pipeline with minimal prompting.
• Ability to explain a complex product to someone unfamiliar with it.
• State life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before first sale.
• Must be prepared for fully remote work with a computer, phone, and reliable internet.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Present options across multiple carriers after discovery.
• Complete the application during the call and move the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance regulations.
