Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an inside sales professional for a fully remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will build a pipeline, schedule appointments, and move cases from discovery to policy issue, while logging every interaction in the CRM.

You should have inside sales or business development experience, be comfortable with a remote setup (computer, phone, internet), and be prepared to obtain or already hold a state life insurance license to begin selling.

Qualifications

• Requires state life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before your first sale.
• 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable working remotely with computer, phone, and reliable internet.
• Experience in inside sales, account management, or business development.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
