The Wood Agency Life is hiring an inside sales specialist for a fully remote, 1099 contract role focused on life insurance. You will schedule back-to-back appointments by phone and video, present carrier options, and guide clients through the application on the call.

You'll log conversations in the CRM, stay informed on product details and state rules, and collaborate with carriers to move cases to policy issue. A state license or plan to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Inside sales experience or business development is required.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up independently.
• Strong communication, especially explaining complex products to new buyers.
• Licensure: state life insurance license or plan to sit for the exam before first sale.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
