The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will work from home on a schedule you manage, helping families understand their options and apply for coverage.

You will call or video-chat with leads, assess needs, explain options in plain language, and guide the process through underwriting, with ongoing training and mentorship from the agency leadership.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Independent contractor status (1099)

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who requested life insurance information.
• Learn each household's situation before showing options.
• Explain coverage choices in plain language and complete the application.
• Follow applications through underwriting and update family until a decision.
• Log each conversation and next step in the CRM.
• Participate in ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules
