Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, independent contractor life insurance sales professional. You will help families understand their options, guide them through the application, and manage the process from your home office on a schedule you control.

You will work with leads who requested information, learn each household's situation, and explain coverage choices in plain language, ensuring underwriting steps are completed and families are updated throughout the decision process.

Qualifications

• Life insurance license or plan to get licensed before first sale.
• State licensing requirements may apply.
• Ability to work from home with independent schedule.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who requested life insurance information.
• Assess household needs before showing options.
• Explain coverage choices clearly and complete the application with the client.
• Guide applications through underwriting and provide updates until a decision.
• Log conversations and next steps in the CRM.
• Participate in ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
