Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is hiring for a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role. Work from your home on a schedule you manage, helping families understand options and complete applications.

You will call or video-chat with leads, assess needs, explain coverage choices in plain language, and guide the client through underwriting and the final decision. Licensure is required or planned prior to first sale.

Qualifications

• A state life insurance license or plan to get licensed before first sale.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable conducting calls and video chats from home.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who already requested life insurance information from us.
• Learn each household's situation and priorities before showing an option.
• Explain coverage choices in plain language, then complete the application together.
• Follow every application through underwriting and keep the family updated until a decision.
• Log each conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
