Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Licensing Engineer Energy – Remote based in Oak Ridge, TN to support licensing for fuel cycle facilities under 10 CFR Part 70. The role involves drafting sections of license applications, coordinating inputs from design teams, and ensuring regulatory traceability and schedule adherence.

You will prepare licensing documentation from evolving design information, interact with NRC and other authorities, and contribute to safety analyses and licensing basis documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a nuclear-related engineering field required.
• 3+ years in licensing or regulatory affairs within the nuclear industry.
• Experience drafting licensing submittals and working with NRC or regulators.
• Ability to produce clear, traceable licensing content from evolving design data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sections of 10 CFR Part 70 license applications under senior guidance.
• Coordinate inputs from design teams and ensure consistency and completeness.
• Identify and document licensing commitments with traceability to regulatory bases.
• Manage schedules and respond to NRC information requests as needed.
