Job summary

Teladoc Health, Inc. is seeking a Licensing Coordinator I to manage licensure for employed practitioners across states. You will collect documents, pre-fill forms, and submit applications to licensing boards and compacts, ensuring timely approvals.

The role requires 1+ year of provider licensing or healthcare administration experience, strong communication, and detail orientation. It is a remote position with travel up to 10% and offers base pay of $24–$26 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year provider licensing experience preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in a healthcare administrative/operations environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or higher.
• Experience working with all types of medical professions (Nurses, Doctors, Mental Health, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and effectively communicate to all levels of constituents; including providers, team members and senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly while meeting aggressive deadlines.
• Detail oriented, analytical, and organized.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Contact practitioners to obtain license documents (10%)
• Pre-fill application and documents (30%)
• Collect, organize, track, and manage items requested by state boards, including, but not limited to, fingerprint cards/background checks, Jurisprudence exams, CE Courses, peer references, transcripts, supervision request, license verifications, employment affiliations, notarized forms, photos, board certification, etc. (30%)
• Submit applications to licensing boards and compacts (10%)
• Follow-up frequently with licensing boards and compacts to obtain application statuses (5%)
• Data enter issued license information into credentialing database (10%)
• Other duties as assigned (5%)
